The Pelješac peninsula is where Croatia's most serious wine culture lives, and this full-day trip is built around it.
You'll start in Ston, home to Europe's second-longest defensive walls and saltworks still harvested by hand using methods over a thousand years old.
From there, the road climbs into Dingač territory — impossibly steep vineyards facing the sea, where some of Croatia's most sought-after red wine is grown. A stop at the Wine Museum puts the region's history into context before a tasting at a small family winery.
The day is paced for exploration, not rushing — expect long stops, good conversation, and wine you won't easily find outside the region.
